Neuropathology status in Poland:
NP is an official subspecialty of pathology, neurology or neurosurgery. After basic training, three years of NP training are added. There are separate training programs for those coming from neurology/pathology/neurosurgery. After passing the NP exam the trainee becomes specialist in NP. The Polish Society of Neuropathology is actively pursuing the possibilities for the single specialty status.
