Neuromuscular Pathologist, Creteil, Paris, France The Henri Mondor Neuromuscular Reference Center is recruiting a neuromuscular pathologist. The Henri Mondor University Hospital is located in Creteil, in the Paris area ( (7km from Paris; 15 minutes by subway or car). The Reference Center for neuromuscular diseases (NMDs) provides comprehensive evaluation and care for patients with peripheral nervous system and muscle disorders (e.g., motor neuron diseases, peripheral neuropathies, neuromuscular transmission disorders, and primary muscle diseases). The proposed position is a full-time job with both diagnostic and academic (research / teaching) activity. Diagnostic activity focuses on adult and pediatric neuromuscular pathology (nerve and muscle biopsies, electronic microscopy, skin biopsy for intraepidermal nerve fiber investigations) and on amyloidosis diagnosis. Research activity is conducted in connection with research lab ‘Biology of Neuromuscular System‘.

Consultant Neuropathologist, Romford, UK
Applications are invited for a whole time Consultant Post in Neuropathology at Queen’s Hospital, Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust, Romford. You will be joining a team of one Consultant Neuropathologist and eleven Consultant Histopathologists. Successful candidates will be able to report cases from a wide range of neurosurgical pathology, including neurooncological, pituitary, skull base, spinal and vascular neurosurgery. The successful candidate must hold GMC registration, FRCPath or its equivalent, be on the Specialist Register for Neuropathology, or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview. Neuropathology vacancy, Vitoria-Gasteiz, SPAIN: A neuropathologist is needed for the Pathology Department of the Hospital Universitario Araba, in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), to attend the Brain Biobank (BIOEF), created in 2010, with large volume of neurodegenerative diseases, muscle and nerve samples and CNS tumours. Part-time (8PA) Consultant post in the Department of Neuropathology, Bristol, UK
Applications are invited for a part-time (8PA) Consultant post that replaces a previous Consultant post in the Department of Neuropathology. The appointee will join two consultant colleagues in the Department, which is part of the Regional Neurosciences Centre, serving the South West of England. The post-holder will share responsibility with his/her consultant colleagues for the provision of all aspects of the neuropathology diagnostic service and for maintaining the high reputation of the Department. He/she will also share responsibility for the specialist training of StRs in neuropathology and pathology, and will contribute to the teaching of undergraduates. Applicants must have full specialist neuropathology training in an approved training post, or equivalent, and hold full and specialist registration (and a license to practise) with the General Medical Council or eligibility for registration within six months of the interview.
